BMW 3 Series Service in Ann Arbor!

We’re featuring the BMW 3 Series this month because our very own BMW specialist, Andrew Daley, drives one. Andrew drives the M3 model, the most powerful version of the 3 Series.

The BMW 3 Series has been in production since May of 1975 and is BMW’s best selling model, accounting for 30% of the BMW brand’s total annual sales.

The first generation in the 3 Series was only available in a 2-door Coupe. However, the model range has since expanded to include a 4-door saloon, 2-door convertible, 2-door coupe, 5-door estate, 5-door lift back and 3-door hatchback styles.  Since 2013, the coupe and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 series. As a result, the 3 Series no longer offers these body styles.

Fun Fact: The BMW emblem on the wheel cap of newer models is weighted so the emblem is right side up even when the tires are rotating.

3 New Year’s Resolutions for Every Car Owner

Happy New Year from the ArborMotion team! We hope you had a great holiday in your household and are feeling healthy and refreshed for a brand new year!

As we all know, the new year is a great time to set New Year’s resolutions or goals to help better yourself throughout the year. What are your New Year’s resolutions? Some of us at ArborMotion have resolutions focused on improving our exercise habits and some of us have resolutions to read more books.

Whatever your New Year’s resolution may be, did you take your car into consideration? While making resolutions to improve your health and overall lifestyle are great, adding a few for your car is a great idea. Make yourself a better car owner and keep your car in the best condition with these three New Year’s resolutions.

1. Don’t Neglect Car Maintenance

The most important car maintenance you’ll need to keep up with this year are oil changes, batteries, brakes, and your car's air filters.

2.  Stay Focused on the Road

 

Did you know that on average nine people are killed by distracted driving in the US every day?  There are many things that are considered distracted driving that we might all be guilty of: texting, changing the music, using an app, taking a photo, or even eating and drinking while cruising down the road. 

3.  Be Courteous to Other Drivers

Driving can be frustrating, especially in these unusual times. Let’s all share the road with understanding, patience and good vibes sent out to those around us. Even if you are not reciprocated in kind, you did your part to keep us all together. Can’t hurt, right??!!
